1. Small Crockpot (1.5 quart)

Crockpots are great for so many things! However, there’s no denying how bulky they are. I assumed I would have to give this item up for life on the road until I found a small 1.5 quart size that fits in our RV drawers. I find this to be the perfect size when cooking meals for two people or side dishes for a group

2. Portable Blender

My husband and I enjoy making smoothies and shakes while traveling and this mini blender is perfect for that. It’s small and compact and fits perfectly next to our cups in our RV kitchen cabinet. The cordless rechargeable battery and lid makes it so you can take it with you wherever you go which is also really great.

3. Electric Coffee Grinder

If you drink coffee, this electric grinder is a must! My husband and I were into brands like Keurig and Nespresso before we started our journey on the road but couldn’t justify taking even a single-serve coffee machine like that with us due the limited space we have in our RV. This electric grinder is cordless and just as compact as the blender mentioned above.

4. Rechargeable Fan

If you plan to do a lot of cooking inside your RV or camper van, I strongly recommend getting a fan like this one. In my experience, having the windows open alone never provides enough air circulation when cooking indoors. This fan is cordless with a rechargeable battery, has multiple fan settings, has a built in light, and even has a hook for the option to hang it. I set it on my RV kitchen counter when using the stovetop and aim it towards the window - works like a charm!

5. Under Cabinet Paper Towel Holder

If you don’t already have an under cabinet paper towel holder, you need one! I highly recommend NOT getting a paper towel holder that sits on the kitchen counter, especially if there’s an indoor stovetop that you use regularly, as having paper products near burners/open flames is a major fire hazard (ask me how I know). The adhesive is strong and having our paper towels off the counter saves so much space.

6. Electric Egg Cooker

If you enjoy eggs as a regular source of protein in your diet, this one is for you! This egg cooker is so convenient and versatile, you can cook your eggs however you like them in a matter of minutes. I make hardboiled eggs pretty often and I appreciate how little water this device uses as opposed to boiling them in a pot of water over the stove - really great for conserving water!

7. Wheat Straw Dinnerware Set

When looking for dinnerware to take with us in our RV, I wanted something that wouldn’t rattle or break when going down the road, but was microwave safe. This Wheat Straw Dinnerware Set was the answer! They’re very lightweight, durable, and easy to clean which is a huge plus.

8. Ice Cube Tray with Container

Ice can be useful for lots of things. I use it most often when making hard boiled eggs and was happy when I found this tray set that comes with a storage container and scoop. It also has a quick release feature that breaks the frozen ice out of the tray and into the storage container at the push of a button which is pretty neat!

9. Immersion Blender

Creativity when cooking can feel limited on the road and I love the options this Immersion Blender gives me. Whether you’re making your own sauce, dips, butter, purées, etc, this is another one of those versatile items I find really useful to have when living in an RV. It’s compact and easy to clean as well.

10. Water Jug and Automatic Dispenser

Having a 5 gallon storage jug for drinking and cooking water has been really great for us on the road, and our automatic water dispenser is such a game changer. Whether I’m refilling our glass water containers to put in the refrigerator to get cold, filling a pot with water for boiling, or refilling our ice trays, this dispenser is fast and super easy to use with one press of a button. Additionally, having the 5 gallon jug saves space in our RV and allows us to stock up on water in bulk.
